Sponsorship opportunities

Company plenary/parallel sponsored symposium, Program subject to the approval of the Congress Scientific Committee

  • Permission to use the phrase: “Official Symposium of the 16th International Congress on Myelodysplastic Syndromes”
  • Sponsored Symposium will remain on demand during the 3 months after the Congress that the platform is available.
  • ​Sponsored Symposium Programs will be included in a designated industry section of the Final Program, website and mobile application  (subject to receipt by publishing deadline).
  • In program/timetable the wording will include: “Non-CME Industry Session organized by: COMPANY NAME (not included in the main event CME/CPD credit offering).”
  • Time Slots: allocated on a first come, first served basis. Options to live stream, keep on demand, and repeat with live Q&A.
  • NOTE: The supporting company in addition to the support fee must cover the registration fee of the speakers. This also applies in the case where the speakers have already been invited by the Congress. 
  • Join us in this Plenary Satellite Symposium (not included in the main CME/CPD credits of the event) to find out about the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • The main goal: an opportunity for companies to present their pipeline
    • Limited number of companies: up to six companies per session (two sessions possible)
    • Plenary session according the program, up to  total of 90 minutes all companies, time slot to be advised per company –  15 min each.
    • Session Chair to be decided by the Congress Organizing Committee
    • Presenting companies to cover all expenses of their speakers in this symposium
    • Content to be presented to the Organizing Committee prior to the beginning of the MDS symposium
    • Support will be acknowledged in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the Program Book, on the event website and application, and with signage during the event
    • NOTE: The supporting company in addition to the support fee must cover the registration fee of the speakers. This also applies in the case where the speakers have already been invited by the Congress. 
  • Opportunity to organize an Official Non-CME Meet the EXPERT Session in a Parallel Hall, up to xx minutes (Program subject to the approval by the MDS Committee)
  • Permission to use the phrase “Official Meet the Expert Session of the MDS 2021 Congress”
  • Meet the Experts Session’s program will be included in a designated industry section of the Final Program (subject to receipt by publishing deadline)
  • Support will be acknowledged in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the program guide, on the event website and application, and with signage during the event
  • NOTE: The supporting company in addition to the support fee must cover the registration fee of the speakers. This also applies in the case where the speakers have already been invited by the Congress. 
  • Opportunity to replay your industry session in the interactive pre-recorded* format during the 3 months after the Congress that the platform is available.
  • Companies will have the possibility to engage with new participants and expand the reach of their symposium by bringing their experts for a live Q&A.
  • Includes IT support.
  • Time and date to be coordinated with the Congress Organizer
  • Support will be acknowledged in the Industry Support and Exhibition section, on the event website and mobile application.

* The main presentation will be pre-recorded and will include a scheduled live Q&A and chat with the speakers.

NOTE: The supporting company in addition to the support fee must cover the registration fee of the speakers. This also applies in the case where the speakers have already been invited by the Congress. 

  • Opportunity to have an additional live Q&A session connected to your industry session, during the Congress days.
  • Companies will have the possibility to engage with new participants in a different time zone and expand the reach of their symposium by bringing their experts for an additional live Q&A.
  • Includes IT support.
  • Time and date to be coordinated with the Congress Organizer.
  • Support will be acknowledged in the Industry Support and Exhibition section, on the event website and mobile application.

* The main presentation will be pre-recorded and will include a scheduled live Q&A and chat with the speakers.

  • Branding the virtual waiting room before your session starts is a great opportunity to connect with attendees and create anticipation.
    • Opportunity to brand the virtual waiting room with company’s logo.
    • Opportunity to share a text or a video while attendees are waiting for your session to start.

Promotional material of the supporting company will be automatically included in each participant’s virtual briefcase, which they can view or download to their computer at any time.

  • Material should be provided by the Supporter and approved by the Secretariat.
  • Supporters’ product information will be available for all Congress participants

​Gain additional exposure for your repeat industry session by sending out a post-Congress Exclusive Mail Blast to registered delegates who have agreed to receive promotional material, at a date and time coordinated with the Congress Organizer.

  • Mail blast will be exclusive for the supporting company. The designed mail blast (html format with Kenes design requirements) and the preferred “Subject” to be provided by the Supporter. ​”From” field will be Congress Acronym + Year.

* In the case where the supporter cannot provide a compliant HTML file, they may provide an image and it will be coded to HTML for an additional charge of € 250.  Content received after the deadline may be processed for an additional fee of € 500.​

  • Supporting company will have the opportunity to brand the flags or billboard (based on availability) in the welcome page of the virtual Congress
  • This page is the first page participants will see before each login to the platform, giving your company big exposure even before participants enter the virtual venue.
  • This may be the Supporting Company’s logo, image, video, or GIF. When clicked, options include:
    • an external link
    • a link to the Supporting Company’s virtual booth or symposium
    • a pop-up document/text/advertisement that may be downloaded to the participant’s virtual briefcase, or
    • a video streamer pop-up can be shown in the screen.

 

Support will be acknowledged in the Industry Support and Exhibition section, on the event website and mobile application.

  • Supporting company will have the opportunity to brand the flags (based on availability) in the lobby of the virtual Congress
  • This is one of the main transit areas for virtual participants to navigate between the many features of the platform, such as exhibition, symposiums, the virtual networking lounge, and the scientific program. This will give your company big exposure for participants throughout the event.
  • This may be the Supporting Company’s logo, image, video, or GIF. When clicked, options include:
    • an external link
    • a link to the Supporting Company’s virtual booth or symposium
    • a pop-up document/text/advertisement that may be downloaded to the participant’s virtual briefcase, or

The World Map is a unique atlas providing viewers with extra info/data on congress participants from around the globe. The map is an interactive experience for participants to connect and send 1:1 messages based on their geographical origins, ideal for enhancing participant networking in the virtual environment.

  • Support will be recognized with World map signage within virtual Lobby including “Supported by…” and a company logo only.

Games are a great way to capture attendees’ attention and make their experiences memorable.

Advertising support opportunities

​Gain additional exposure for your Symposium, company or exhibition booth by sending out a Mail Blast to the preregistered delegates who have agreed to disclose their details at a date and time coordinated with the Congress Organizer.

  • Exclusive: Mail blast will be exclusive for the supporting company. The designed mail blast (html format with Kenes design requirements) and the preferred “Subject” to be provided by the Supporter and subject to receipt by 6 weeks prior to the Congress.*  ​”From” field will be MDS 2021.
  • Joint: Mail blast will list all supporting companies according to the support level. Each company will have a section of approximately 150 words. Design will be provided by Organizer.

* In the case where the supporter cannot provide a compliant HTML file, they may provide an image and it will be coded to HTML for an additional charge of € 250.  Content received after the deadline may be processed for an additional fee of € 500.​

Regulations

Please note that it is the Exhibitors’ and/or Supporters’ responsibility to comply with the local authority’s regulations, including, without limitation, IFPMA, the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations Code of Practice on the promotion of medicines (www.ifpma.org), as well as FDA restrictions on the promotion of investigational and preapproved drugs and devices and the FDA prohibition on promoting approved drugs and devices for unapproved uses. Any product not FDA-approved for a particular use or not commercially available in the U.S. may be exhibited only if accompanied by easily visible signs indicating the status of the product.

Failure to comply with these regulations may not be used as a ground to declare the contract void. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations will not expose the Organizer to any suits, demands by the Exhibitor/Supporter or any other third party.

Acknowledgements

Support will be recognized in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the program, on the event website,  mobile application and with signage during the event.
